Five Tables of Journeys and Destinations

Drop by our art study centers on Free First Thursdays and get an up-close view of some of the treasures of the BAMPFA collections, laid out on the five tables in the seminar area. Among the works on view this session: an idiosyncratic lithograph of a day at the beach by Toulouse-Lautrec; Piranesi’s magnificent etchings of antiquity-haunted Rome; Debra Bloomfield’s photograph of the bullet holes in the walls of Leon Trotsky’s Mexican home; Ansel Adams’s calendar-perfect takes on Yosemite; and views along the Tokaido Road by Hiroshige. Space is limited, so there could be a short wait.
