Join us for opening weekend of Maren Hassinger: Living Moving Growing, the most significant retrospective of the artist to date, with work across sculpture, performance, video, and installation from the early 1970s to the present. On Saturday, June 6, the exhibition opens with tributes to Maren Hassinger and a newspaper twisting workshop led by the artist. Sunday, June 7 is Free Community Day with free access to BAMPFA galleries and activities. With your BAMPFA admission sticker, gain free access to the UC Botanical Garden, with the option of using a complimentary shuttle bus to travel between BAMPFA, the UC Botanical Garden, and overflow parking at the Lawrence Hall of Science.
