Analog Light Show Festival

For the closing weekend of Hippie Modernism, the Analog Light Show Festival celebrates the psychedelic art form of live light performance pioneered in the rock clubs and avant-garde happenings of the 1960s. Join us for three nights of light wizardry set to live music. Using homegrown projection instruments and innovative techniques, these artists hand-animate painted slides, liquid mixes, and reflective materials to create a hypnotic tapestry of color and pattern. The festival features the first-ever reunion of members and archival materials from Glenn McKay and Jerry Abrams’s original Headlights, joined each night by different performers including Donovan Drummond, Dennis Keefe, James Baldocchi, Andriode Light Show, Misto Reef Lights, Andy Puls, Church of Color & Light, Steve Beck, Libido Light Club, and Flower Pattern, with musical acts Chinyakare, Matt Baldwin, Sean Hellfritsch, Vintage Synthesizer Museum, and more.
