In conjunction with the exhibition Theresa Hak Kyung Cha: Multiple Offerings, BAMPFA hosts a symposium that highlights new directions in research on Theresa Hak Kyung Cha. Featuring contributions from graduate students and early career researchers and moderated by UC Berkeley faculty and scholars, the symposium honors the spirit of Cha’s multidisciplinary oeuvre by inviting new scholarship from a range of fields and expanding the existing research on the artist’s visionary practice.
