Data, Pixels, and Celluloid: 16mm Inkjet and Laser Printing Workshop
Programmed by Alix Blevins
Los Angeles–based film and video artists Karissa Hahn and Andrew Kim lead a workshop using inkjet and laser printing to produce unique images on 16mm film strips. Hahn’s “inkjet films” use this mode of production to conceptualize questions about information, data, and the materiality of images. Bring a laptop with Photoshop and/or an image on a thumb drive to prepare images for printing onto film.
