Gallery + Studio / Love Notes for the Future

For ages 6–12 with accompanying adult(s).

Led by Erin McCluskey Wheeler, this is a two-part workshop that integrates an interactive gallery tour with a related art project. Sign up in the Art Lab ten minutes ahead of the session, which begins with a short gallery tour at 11:30 AM.

Explore some of Maren Hassinger’s art projects in a guided gallery tour with artist Erin McCluskey Wheeler. Then transform paper and found materials into sculptures that carry hidden messages of love and friendship for ourselves and for the future.

Drawing on art history and her teaching practice, Erin McCluskey Wheeler makes abstract painted paper collages and found material constructions in conversation with women artists from the past. Wheeler holds an MFA from California College of the Arts.
