POSTPONED: Youth Designing Our Future Cities

This event has been postponed to a later date. Updates will be posted at artsdesign.berkeley.edu. Thank you for your understanding.

Youth will be living in the cities of the future, so they should be engaged in every level of planning for them. This panel brings together youth leaders from RYSE Center, the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts, Groundwork Richmond, and other organizations and initiatives to share the ways in which they are planning the future of the city of Richmond. Creating art initiatives and constructing community gardens, developing green jobs and building youth councils, consulting with architects and establishing sustainable funding streams—these young leaders will share their visions, dreams, projects, and plans.
