Dinosaurs and Dragons

Recommended for age 4 and older. The magic of film brings to life giant reptiles who are long extinct and firebreathing creatures who never existed. In Dinosaur! and 64,000,000 Years Ago filmmakers recreate the age of the dinosaurs with lifelike models. The early cartoon Gertie the Dinosaur (1909) presents a charming dinosaur who performs tricks. Dragons turn out to be very helpful or clever in three stories: Dragon Stew, The Reluctant Dragon and the Chinese fable, The Fire Flowers of Yet Sing Low.
