Recommended for age 6 and older. This 1914 film was written and directed by L. Frank Baum himself based on one of his post-Wizard of Oz books. Full of charming, magical effects, it includes all the Oz favorites--Dorothy, the Wizard, the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Woodsman, and of course, the Scarecrow. Recorded ragtime musical accompaniment will be added in keeping with the original score.
