The Model Couple (Le Couple Témoin)

As he was wont to be, Klein was at least a decade ahead of his time in this sci-fi farce about the misuse of science in the name of raging normality. In an effort to better facilitate the desires of a consumer society, the French "Ministry of the Future" selects a model couple in a model apartment living a model life as guinea-pigs in a pseudo-scientific study; instant t.v. celebrities, no sooner are they wired for sound (and impulse) than they begin to regret their new status as media stars cum targets. They try to rebel but a gang of teenage terrorists (mad for role models?) holds them hostage to their Faustian pact. A cautionary tale about a future just passed.
