Made by Albert Lamorisse, the director of The Red Balloon, this is another film fantasy about the magic of balloons-the marvelous adventures of a boy and his grandfather as they tour France in a sixty-foot, orange colored hot air balloon. Along the way they see a Breton wedding, follow a stag hunt, and cross the Alps.
