BAMPFA’s 2023 Art and Film Benefit pays tribute to two distinguished artists with deep ties to the Bay Area—filmmaker and interdisciplinary artist Cauleen Smith and conceptual artist and photographer Catherine Wagner. This year’s event will take place onsite at the museum, with a festive dinner in our downstairs galleries. Artist and filmmaker Arthur Jafa will offer a special tribute to Cauleen, and Hammer Museum chief curator Connie Butler will speak about Catherine. We hope you will join us in celebrating these exceptional artists and supporting BAMPFA!
