Admission $4This festival provides an opportunity to experience what Bay Area high school students have to offer the world of film and video. It is comprised of short works by young filmmakers at Berkeley, California, Miramonte, Pittsburg, San Leandro, Sir Francis Drake, and Woodside High Schools. They range from public service announcements and music videos to adventure tales and documentaries. This show is curated and presented by Berkeley High School students in the Communication Arts and Sciences (CAS) program, in collaboration with UC Berkeley's ArtsBridge Scholars program of the Consortium for the Arts and the Pacific Film Archive. The student curators are Hemini S. Bhakta, Makenda Burroughs, Calvin Gaskin, and Yvette Perez. Their ArtsBridge mentor is Maria Chavez in conjunction with Dharni Rasiah (CAS) and Kathy Geritz (PFA).
