4th Annual Berkeley High School/Bay Area Film & Video Festival
Discussion with the artists will follow the screening.
Recommended for ages 14+. If it's an open window into the tangled psyches of today's teenagers you crave, look no further: the 4th annual Berkeley High Bay Area Film and Video Festival has it in droves. Back by the demand of an adoring public, the program features the best of Bay Area youth cinema. Representing all styles and genres. See the action! Hear the laughs! Share the memories! Berkeley High School students in the Communication Arts and Sciences (CAS) program curate and present this festival, with collaborative support from UC Berkeley's ArtsBridge Scholars program of the Consortium for the Arts and the Pacific Film Archive. The student curators are Jake Juarez, Jared Lee, Daniel Sanders, Anna Schrag, Zack Sultan, and Chris Vejby. Thanks to ArtsBridge mentor Gabriel Peters-Lazaro, Dharni Rasiah (CAS), and Kathy Geritz (PFA).
A handout listing all the selections will be available at the Festival.
