Berkeley High Film Festival

Recommended for ages 14+. Discussion with the artists to follow screening. Through the Communications Arts and Sciences (CAS) program and several video production classes, the talents of filmmakers at Berkeley High School have been given ample time to blossom. In this mini-festival their work is brought to the public for the first time, giving the community the chance to experience what Berkeley High students have to offer the world of film and video. The show is comprised of short works by several young filmmakers at BHS, and was curated by students themselves in collaboration with Berkeley High's CAS program and the Pacific Film Archive. Special thanks to Rick Ayers, CAS Head, for his support, and to the ArtsBridge program of the Consortium for the Arts at UC Berkeley for their sponsorship. Curated by Anne Goldberg, Devin Hahn, Ana Hurka Robles, Walker Koppelman-Brown, with the assistance of ArtsBridge Scholars Maria Chavez and Alesandra Dubin. A written program will be available at the screening.
