The Best of Annecy, Program I

Two programs of animated films selected from the 1981 International Festival of Animated Films held in Annecy, France - a rare opportunity to see recent work by leading animators from the U.S., Canada, France, Italy, and Eastern Europe. Included in the program is the Grand Prize-winning, pixilated film, Tango, by Polish filmmaker Zbigniew Rybczynski, as well as recent work of well-known artists Will Vinton, Larry Jordan, George Griffin, Guido Manuli, and many others. (Winter (Zima) from Program I, and (Variations and Precious Metal, both from Program II, were cancelled.)
The Best of Annecy will be repeated November 1, with Program II at 7:00 and 10:00, and Program I at 8:30.
