An elderly writer andhis young wife come to a small Estonian island to enjoy the quiet, rurallife. When a young male photographer arrives on the scene, a lovetriangle disturbs the peace. The situation is resolved in a bizarrefashion when a herd of bulls stampede the couple's house, and the menreveal their essential natures. Like the corrida itself, this is a studyof society in microcosm.
