The first program in our Oskar Fischinger celebration debuts the new restorations and features a presentation by William Moritz, a world-renowned expert on visual music, experimental cinema, and animation, and a filmmaker himself. With Elfriede Fischinger, Moritz has restored a number of Fischinger films over the course of two decades and has written the definitive biography of Fischinger. Moritz is a professor at USC and the California Institute of the Arts.
