Coogan's Bluff

The first Siegel-Eastwood collaboration, Coogan's Bluff has the taciturn anti-hero of the Leone spaghetti westerns deposited in the canyons of Manhattan (the original urban cowboy), fighting those who ridicule his cowboy pants and cowboy stance. Tracking his prey, he forces him out into the wide open spaces (where he's more comfortable) for a motorcycle chase. “The film is invigorated by its clash of life styles and Siegel's exhilarating style.” --NFT
