Director Margery Wilson in Person
Anthony Slide introduces Margery Wilson, the sole surviving woman director from the silent era. A lively speaker, Ms. Wilson will discuss not only her career as a director, but also her experiences as one of the stars of D.W. Griffith's Intolerance and as a leading lady to William S. Hart, Charles Ray and Douglas Fairbanks, Sr. While none of Margery Wilson's silent films exist in their entirety, Anthony Slide has prepared a film from the archival footage that does exist, and has included scenes from Intolerance.
