The Films of Fritz Lang: Lecture by Tom Gunning

We are pleased to welcome film historian Tom Gunning, author of The Films of Fritz Lang: Allegories of Vision and Modernity, who will speak before the film and sign copies of his book following the screening. A professor in the Department of Art History and the Committee on Film and Media at the University of Chicago, Gunning is also the author of D. W. Griffith and the Origins of American Narrative Cinema and of numerous articles on early cinema.
