Flamenco at 5:15 and He Makes Me Feel Like Dancin'

Flamenco at 5:15
An exciting performance film, and a revealing document of an aspect of Hispanic culture, Flamenco at 5:15 was featured at the San Francisco International Film Festival '84, and recently won an Academy Award. The Canadian film follows Susana Robledo, dancer, teacher and choreographer, and her husband, Antonio Robledo, as they introduce the senior students at the famed National Ballet School of Canada to the Flamenco--a dance which grew out of the pain of itinerant gypsies, the songs of the Sephardim (Spanish Jews), and the Moorish presence in Spain.
