In 1997, two young sisters went missing on the Philippine island of Cebu. Burly teenager Paco Larrañaga, a Cebu native taking midterm exams at a Manila school, and six others were arrested for the kidnap, rape, and murder of the sisters, though most witnesses put Paco in Manila during the crimes.
