Give Up Tomorrow

In the tradition of true-crime documentaries like Thin Blue Line comes Give Up Tomorrow, as gripping as the best crime fiction. In 1997, two young sisters went missing on the Philippine island of Cebu. Burly teenager Paco Larrañaga, a Cebu native taking midterm exams at a Manila school, and six others were arrested for the kidnap, rape, and murder of the sisters, though most witnesses put Paco in Manila during the crimes. Give Up Tomorrow follows the harrowing and incredible journey of the Larrañaga family as they struggle to clear Paco, and offers an indictment of its own, one against a corrupt criminal justice system.
