A presentation of some of the U.S.S.R.'s outstanding artists of opera and ballet: a simple story provides the setting for “the grand concert” which features the ballerinas Galina Ulanova, Olga Lepeshinskaya and others; opera stars Maria Maksakova, Vera Davova, Alexander Pirogov, Ivan Koslovsky; conductors Leonid Lavrovsky, R. Zasharov. Included are the works of Prokofiev (“Romeo And Juliet”), Glinka (“Ivan Susanin”), Tchaikovsky (“Swan Lake”), and Borodin (“Prince Igor”).
