"This is the kind of film the existence of which can only be explained by the fact that, in the days of studio mass production, vehicles had to be found to keep contract stars and directors busy. There's nothing particularly wrong with it, but one wonders how it could have excited or interested the studio higher-ups who presumably had to o.k. new scripts. Glossy it certainly is; whether it can be classified as a drama, a romance or a comedy is perhaps up to the individual viewer, and since it is both an unknown and unshown film, we'll leave it its element of surprise and say nothing about its plot and how (or if) it relates to that curious title."
