Kid Commotion
(Kodakara Sodo) The only remaining silent comedy by the master of the genre, Torajiro Saito, Kid Commotion is filled with energy and brilliant slapstick gags. The story is a scathingly ironical portrait of the economic depression of the times, telling of a family of six going on seven who find themselves in a pickle, being six kids behind on their midwifery payments. Our print, with Japanese intertitles, is presented with a written synopsis by Tadao Sato.
