Kiss Me Kate
Cole Porter's popular Broadway musical mixed slap- stick and sophisticated wit to tell the story of a divorced couple who are brought together in a musical production of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, their off-stage sparring fueling their on-stage performances. This bright film version features Kathryn Grayson, Ann Miller and Howard Keel, with choreography by Hermes Pan and Bob Fosse. Songs include "So In Love," "Too Darn Hot," "Always True to You (in My Fashion)," etc. The first musical to be shot in 3-D, it was also released in a flat version, which we present tonight.
