Riding on the Stockholm subway with her mother during rush hour, four-year-old Ina loses her beloved teddy bear Nonno. Inconsolable, she rejects all offers to replace him because, of course, nothing can substitute for Nonno! Across a snow-covered Swedish landscape, poor Nonno ends up taking an elaborate journey, encountering everything from reindeer (real ones!) to mailbags to garbage trucks, while Ina's mother tries her best to track him down.
