The Loved One

Evelyn Waugh's satire on the mores and morals of Hollywood and the funeral business is considered by some critics to be a very bad film, and by others to be a very good film; everyone considers it a very funny film, and a bad taste classic at the least. Liberace, Jonathan Winters, Rod Steiger, Milton Berle and other stars interpret their grotesque characterizations with appropriate exaggeration.
