Luminous Procuress

Composer Warner Jepson worked on the score for Luminous Procuress for almost a year. Steve Arnold, charismatic director of Mannique/Mecanique and other phantasmagorical happenings and events, had the talent for convincing a variety of people to come together and enact visual fantasies of decadent and outrageous scenes redolent of Kenneth Anger's Inauguration of the Pleasure Dome in High Sixties license. Jepson assumed more and more of the final shaping of the film, including the use of foreign languages as sound-text. “Since it was fantasy, I liked putting music to it.”
