African businesswomen, almost self-made if you ignore their multinational trading partners, go head-to-head with a global Dutch textile supplier in this entertaining, unexpectedly humorous look at the collision point of global capital and third-world enterprise. In Burkina Faso, the most successful female textile sellers are called "Mamma Benz" after the private cars they love to show off, but beneath the external glory lies their unending struggle to succeed. Arguing with corporate Dutch stuffed shirts on one end and rival sellers on the other, they just want a taste of money, but not quite at the price the Dutch - or their husbands - expect.
