The Mask
If you're looking for Jim Carrey or Cher, forget it. This is the original. But more than that, it's the only film boasting “Depth-Dimension,” a version of 3-D that takes you into “the hidden recesses of the human mind.” At unexpected moments, you will be instructed to use your own 3-D replica mask. This will allow you to view the unimaginable horrors lurking in our psyches, or at least those on the screen. The actual mask is a hideous relic found at a museum by Dr. Barnes, a psychoanalyst of unbridled curiosity. When one dons the artifact, a devilish dimension is breached, revealing a grotto with ghoulish apparitions. In this cadaverous cavern, the Ritual of the Mask transpires. The mesmerizing power of the ritual begins to seduce the dear doctor, who discovers his own deep longing for mayhem. Can you resist the power of the mask? Will you be strong in the face of spine-tingling sights, when we tell you, “Put the mask on now!”
