Members' Fall Celebration

Open to all members.

BAMPFA opens its doors just for members for this free, private celebration of our fall exhibitions. Relax to live jazz by the All of Us trio, nosh on delicious local eats, and enjoy intimate after-hours access to the galleries. To close out this fantastic evening, Berkeley bassist Lisa Mezzacappa’s multidisciplinary ensemble Lisa Mezzacappa’s Eye & Ear Patrol will perform a live cinema piece inspired by our newest exhibition, Dimensionism: Modern Art in the Age of Einstein.

About the performers:

All of Us is an East Bay jazz trio comprising Eric Price on bass, Max Brody on guitar, and Kyle Athayde on trumpet. This trio comes together to blend conservatory training with an appreciation for jazz and other musical genres to create evocative and highly listenable music.

Lisa Mezzacappa’s Eye & Ear Patrol is an eclectic group of musicians that challenge musical genres through their sound and visuals, and features:

Lisa​ ​Mezzacappa​​—a San ​Francisco​ ​Bay Area​ ​bassist, composer, and improviser​. ​

Kyle Bruckmann—oboist and electronic musician. 

​​Jason​ ​Levis—percussionist​ ​and​ ​composer.​ ​
