Tonight we present the stunning new restoration of Lang's pioneering science fiction masterpiece presented earlier this year at the San Francisco International Film Festival. Made directly from the original negative, this version restores the film's visual grandeur. Although there is still missing footage (and intertitles to explain what we don't see), this is probably the closest we're ever likely to get to Lang's monumental original.
