A selection of videotapes produced during the last five years, including Moonshine II, Frustration, Homage to Venus, and Late Evening Skyline, a work in progress. Gillerman utilizes several different electronic imaging systems; in some of her pieces, live performance images are mixed with electronically generated abstract computer animation. Gillerman worked with Dan Sandin at the Chicago Art Institute prior to moving to the west coast, where she is an instructor in video at California College of Arts and Crafts. Her works include elements of the Chicago school, as well as soundworks by her brother James, Patti Smith and others.
