In a small Lithuanian town, two children, Andrus and Liuka, are forbidden to see each other by their warring fathers. Romeo and Juliet in miniature, their tale is played out into young adulthood. Liuka's family moves, and Andrus is left with his memories of her, his native town, and his childhood.
