End Here concerns a young couple-a South American architect and hisNew York wife-confronting, in their oblique way, the aimlessness oftheir life and their marriage. When some fabulously successful friendsdrop by, tensions burst into satiric humor. Frank picks up on the poeticqualities of the vast, open spaces of their modern apartment complex ina similar way to the fields in The Sin of Jesus. They become emblematicof the protagonists-in particular the woman, discontented, dreamy,disengaged.
