The Paradox of the 10 Acres Square

Bay Area Premiere!

The eteam is back! After their great land scam of 2004, a.k.a. 1.1 Acre Flat Screen, Franziska Lamprecht and Hajoe Moderegger have returned to their parched parcel of property in Nevada, still troubled by this ill-defined stretch of tumbleweed. The thoroughly absurdist art duo's M.O. is to locate a “problem,” then eliminate all possible solutions until only the outlandish remains. In The Paradox of the 10 Acres Square, the niggling predicament is that a public thoroughfare that shouldn't be there plows through their 660-foot square of scrub. The dilemma of right-of-way needs a fix right away, so off they go devising bypasses, overpasses, and impasses, while trying to remain neighborly to the desert's denizens. The eteam's newest conceptual conundrum is about intellectual property, right?
