New Print!

(Pauline à la plage). The end of season at the Brittany shore, and teenage Pauline takes a lesson in love and bittersweet hypocrisy from her older cousin Marion, who has come to the beach to "burn." Pauline at the Beach brought Rohmer the Silver Bear for best direction and the Critics Prize at Berlin. But questions inevitably remained as to the seriousness of purpose of a beach film.
