A Program of Dutch Experimental Films

These 10 independent and avant-garde films from the Netherlands were programmed by Holland Experimental Film, a foundation created in 1976 for the advancement of experimental cinema. The contemporary Dutch avant-garde cinema begins with the work of Frans Zwartjes, and continues through his students at the Free Academy in The Hague, as well as through other young cineastes at work in the Netherlands today.
