The Railrodder plus The Garage, Mickey's Service Station, and The Electric House
Recommended for ages 6 and older. This film offers a double treat: Keaton's physical humor and Canada's gorgeous scenery from coast to coast. One of Keaton's last films, The Railrodder follows him crossing Canada in a railroad handcar. He brings along an apparently bottomless box in which he finds everything needed for the trip. Directed by Gerald Potterton. With Buster Keaton. (1965, 25 mins, Color, Print from National Film Board of Canada). Preceded by early Keaton film made with Fatty Arbuckle, The Garage (1917, 24 mins) and Mickey's Service Station (6 mins.) and The Electric House. (22 mins.) Prints available from Twyman Films/Rohauer Collection.
