Recommended for ages 7+. Nine-year-old Rasmus is an orphan with a dream to one day find new parents. Tired of waiting in the orphanage, he runs away to search on his own. Awaking in a barn after his first night out, he meets a vagabond named Oskar who agrees to let Rasmus travel with him until he finds his new mother and father.
