San Diego, I Love You
Long after he had been forgotten, Buster Keaton returned to the screen in this late screwball cum farce. He brings his silent comic talents to bear as a bored bus driver who suddenly decides to abandon the route he's been traveling for the last 10 years, wreaking havoc on war-crowded San Diego. The whimsical comedy co-written by Ruth McKenney (My Sister Eileen) centers around the unconventional family of inventor Edward Everett Horton; Louise Albritton is delightful as the older sister, an effective foil for the antics of a Cheaper by the Dozen-like brood.
