The People of the Po, a documentary on the villages on the banks of the Po and the people who live in them, looks forward to Il grido. Sanitation Department is a day in the life of Rome's street cleaners, filmed chronologically from dawn to dusk. In Lies of Love, the rather ordinary private lives of the stars of the fumetti-photographed comic strips-are contrasted with their public images to humorous effect. Superstition catalogs illegal superstitious practices in a small village in the Marches. The Villa of Monsters is a film of monstrous sculpted human figures in the park of an ancient villa at Bomarzo, near Viterbo. In Suicide Attempt, a segment from the neorealist omnibus Love in the City, Antonioni interviews three would-be suicides for love. Plus Vertigine and Seven Reeds, One Suit.
