Few issues on the American landscape stir as much intense emotion as the abortion debate. This film takes the provocative stance of following a number of anti–abortion activists over the course of a year. Using a strategic campaign, these activists build constituencies through websites and create informal communities to support members of the movement put on death row for bombing clinics and killing abortion providers. Their perspectives are juxtaposed with the points of view of citizens, from religious leaders to health care professionals, who continue to endorse choice and tolerance. This video leaves an indelible and sinking feeling that these passionately different worldviews will not be bridged anytime soon.
