Speaking About Godard: Harun Farocki and Kaja Silverman Reading and Booksigning

Filmmaker Harun Farocki and film theorist and writer Kaja Silverman will read from Speaking About Godard (New York University Press, 1998), a series of written dialogues analyzing the work of Jean-Luc Godard. They will discuss the innovative form of the book, as well as introduce Godard's film Passion, which follows the booksigning. Farocki and Silverman both teach in UC Berkeley's Film Studies Program. Farocki's most recent videos were presented at PFA this fall. Speaking About Godard is sold in our Museum Store and at the booksigning ($17.95, paperback, 10% discount at the signing).
