TOO YOUNG TO DIE

This disarming docudrama about a real-life Korean couple who met in their seventies and found that sex keeps them young includes explicit scenes, but the couple's sheer love of life-and life of love-turns it into a film for (almost) the entire family. Capturing the couple's relationship with a mix of improvised dialogue and scripted elements, director Park Jin-Pyo avoids arranged dramas to instead concentrate on their everyday lives, where the joy of sex is as ordinary, and as cherished, as life itself. Short: The Skywalk Is Gone (Tsai Ming-Liang, Taiwan, 2002, 23 mins), a poetic rondo set at the former site of the Taipei Railway Station skywalk.
