The Trespasser

In this stylish Brazilian thriller, a hit man blackmails his way into the patrician lives of two construction engineers. His presence challenges the rigid social roles typical of life in modern Brazil, with incendiary results. In Brant's third feature, the violence of São Paulo street life is intertwined with the corruption of business and government. When the characters of The Trespasser violate each other's turf they find that power is mutable, greed is unquenchable, and no one is as safe as their surroundings suggest.
