Always a charming and neglected film, this takes on added values now - in these days of rapidly deteriorating Eastmancolor prints - by virtue of its absolutely stunning 3-strip Technicolor and art direction. It's a visual eyepopper, as well as being a most diverting period romantic comedy in a subdued Oscar Wilde manner.
