Twitch of the Death Nerve

Who could ask for a better title than Twitch of the Death Nerve? Or a better carnival of carnage? Thirteen randy Italians converge, some innocently, some not, on a remote bay and are then slaughtered with gruesome ingenuity. The reason behind the mayhem is that most eternal of stimulants, greed. A developer coveting the romantic arc of this body of water sets in motion an all-out murder spree to eliminate the competition...or does he? Sumptuous visuals belie the bleak bash as do a handful of wry characters, particularly Fassati, the entomologist who gabs with his favorite beetle, and an avaricious heir played by the infamous Claudine Auger. Facial cleavage, sex partner shish kebab, and a delirious decapitation are counterpointed with sultry images of the glistening bay - nature persists regardless of man's mess. Twitch of the Death Nerve is the standard-bearer for the slasher flick, or rather the sub-standard meting out more than most can bear.
